I’m on a hummus kick. I recently explained how much I’ve come to love hummus. And I love this hummus even more than the original. My husband preferred the hummus with the spicy raw garlic flavor, but I’m not a huge fan of raw garlic. This version takes the garlic flavor down a notch, makes it a little sweeter, and it’s much less biting. Plus roasted garlic is so pretty and smells so fantastic! I only discovered hummus somewhere around the age of 25. A friend brought it to my house, and I felt terribly rude not trying it. So, after nearly three decades of avoiding hummus, I finally gave in. Thank goodness for those ingrained manners from childhood; if not for those, I might have gone my whole life missing out on something really terrific! I took a hiatus from blogging (just in case you couldn’t tell). It’s been good to focus on some other priorities, like passing a qualifying exam and inching closer to writing a dissertation proposal.
